Licensed Guide

Hello there,
I have been looking for a licensed guide in Athens for a private day tour. I couldn't find one on the Tours by locals site. Can anyone recommend someone?
Thank you

hey hey ecgray
so many tours out there from many to offer. what kind of tour are you looking for and how much is your budget?
you can stop at a tourist info kiosk in a city center plaza, see what's available and if you like.
do you want a food tour, acropolis and museum tour, sightsee athens and museum, temple of poseiden and sunset tour, 3 hour city tour on a tuk tuk, island hopping cruise?

put in athens and see what's offered to you liking.
ask you hotel host/hostess to refer you one

I was looking for a licensed guide that would go into all of the sights with us to share their knowledge. My husband wears hearing aids so that is why I requested a private tour so he won't feel embarrassed asking the guide to speak up or stand on his left side. We would like to see the Acropolis and it's museum, Temple of Olympian Zeus Hadrian Arch, Panathenaic Stadium, Parliament with Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the changing of the guards, Plaka (this is where we are staying), Ancient Roman Agora, Athens Trilogy, and Lycabettus Hill. We would also like to take a day trip to Delphi. We have 3 full days to sight see.

Thank you for all your information!!!

Even with 3 full days your schedule will be very busy.
The heat plus the noise, the crowds, the pollution can exhaust you quickly (especially after 11am if it's hot)

A little trick to see the changing of the Evzones guards without the crowd:
Enter the National Garden (to the right of the parliament) cross it, you will come out on Irodou Attikou Street. There's a changing of the guards here too, there's hardly anyone there and it's on a tree-lined street (so with shade!)
