Lefkada Hotel recommendations

Eight of us (4 couples) are chartering a boat from there and will be arriving three days before we pick up the charter. Do you have any hotels you would recommend? It would be nice to be in walking distance to the marinia.

I have not been to Lefkada, but want to caution against the use of Tripadvisor.com in general for recommendations. Anybody can write a review there. It's better to read reviews posted in booking.com which allows only paid guests to rate hotels.
