Do you have any advice on how to combine a trip to Lefkada with other parts of Greece? I'll be there in early June 2026.

I would add: how do you plan to travel to Lefkada and by what means of transport?
From Lefkada, to reach other parts of Greece, you will need to return to the mainland or take a ferry to another Ionian island with an airport, such as Zakynthos, Corfu, or Kefalonia and take a flight to Athens.
On the mainland, in Preveza, you can rent a car to explore the region, or from Aktion Airport there are two flights a week to Sitia in Crete with Sky Express.
There are no direct ferry connections between the Ionian Islands and the other archipelagos.
