Last Day in Athens

Some illness in the family has forced some changes to our Athens plan. Tomorrow will be our last day here in Athens after 3 days before heading to the Peloponnese and unfortunately all we have really seen is the Acropolis.

We purchased the pass at the Acropolis that granted access to the museum, Agora, etc. So we have two options....

(1) See the Acropolis Museum and more of the ancient sights that we have apass for and possibly the changing of the guard in Syntagma Square.

Or

(2) Focus on getting to the National Archeological Museum at probably the expense of the Acropolis Museum to better put into context some of the sights we are going to visit on the Pelopennese.

Thoughts or advice?

The Acropolis Museum is wonderful, but I think the NAM is a much better choice if you only have the one day. It covers all of Greece's history, not just the Parthenon/Acropolis.
