KTEL Bus from Nafplio to Mycenae/Epidavros

I have a two-night stay in Nafplio in late May and have one full day (Monday) on which I'd like to visit both Mycenae and Epidavros theater using the KTEL Bus (as suggested in Rick's 2023 book on p.261).

For Mycenae, the below page shows that there isn't any bus to the ancient site until 6/6. Prior to it, there are only buses that go as close to Mycenae as FICHTI.

For the Epidavros theater, the below page shows there is only one RT (leaves Nafplio at 10:30 and comes back from Epidavros at 12:30) on weekdays.

Am I looking at the right pages/info? If so, it seems I can do the bus for Epidavros in the morning. In the afternoon, is it realistic to hire a taxi from FICHTI to Mycenae and back (the page says "FICHTI village is 3,5km away from Mikines")? Or I will be better off hiring one at Nafplio? The book says that should cost around 70 Euro RT. Anyone knows whether it's still the case? Or maybe just joining a day tour from Nafplio to both sites if it's offered?

These are the correct bus schedules.

Contact Kostas Mavrogiannis, a local taxi driver (who speaks English), who can help you with your transportation needs:

On my first visit to Nafplio, there was a great local day-excursion, but that was !25! years ago. Alas in recent years, there has not been a local bus tour available for the 2 sites (local travel agency excuse is "all tours come from Athens or cruise ships, no local demand)..... and the KTEL schedules don't make it possible. (The Epidaurus sked used to be 9:30 & back at 1:30, but no more). The local Government Tourist office is no help (political appointees sitting around drinking coffee). Once I even went to the Mayor's office to complain -- and his secretary told me in whispers not to wait, he would be no help at all. Just out of curiosity, I have written that uniquetours link, but am not hopeful. Rick Steves isn't realistic, his tours have their own bus, I guess his book-editors haven't checked local conditions for some time.

Instead of Mycenae, you can easily see TIRYNS, though. No museum, but a Very impressive fortress!! and just outside of town. You can take a local bus at €1 or less, for 10 minutes, ask the driver to let you off at Tiryns... its right beside the road! Here's a good descriptive website - http://www.odysseyadventures.ca/articles/mycenae/article_mycenae03-tiryns.html Almost NO tourists! Once when I was there, a huge Crane was lifting rocks the size of Volkswagens, displaced by storms. You can see/appreciate in 30-40 minutes, then go to opposite side of road, by a grocery, and just flag down any bus coming in to Nafplio.
