I'm confused about the KTEL bus that runs from Athens to Nafplio... (I've been looking on BusBud for the route). It appears the only stop in Nafplio is at Tirintha Ethniki Odos Argous, which is an hour's walk from the center of town. Is this really the only KTEL stop in Nafplio? If so, how does one get to the city itself?

Use Google Maps and search for "KTEL Nafplio", you will see that the bus station is right at the entrance to the old town

Just to second JoLui, we did that trip in June. The bus stop is in the town.

The bus stops at the bus station in Nafplio just outside the Old Town.
Just got off, get your luggage and head for your destination.
Pretty simple, easy, nice ride even though there is no toilets on the bus.
