I am unfamiliar with inter-islands flights in Greece. I am planning to fly with Aegean Airlines with paid checked baggage. Depart from Kefalonia at 3:00pm with 1 Stop at Athens 1h 05 min transfer layover, arrive Santorini at 6pm in the beginning of October. Total flights time is 3 hours. My question is: Will 1 hour and 5 min layover be enough time for the checked baggage catch up with me? I am very concerned about losing my luggage and no clothes, etc. during the trip. I looked up the daily flight status on both flights A37293 flight (from Kefalonia to Athens) and A3358 flight (from Athens to Santorini). Both flights delay 30-45 mins daily as usual. Or do I have to take a longer layover flight? Another flights option is depart Kefalonia at 3pm, 1 Stop at Athens 5h 30 min and arrive Santorini at 8:30pm. With delays, properly arrive around 9pm or 9:30pm.
