Kardamyli Lodging

For a September vacation, I’m looking for a comfortable place to stay for three nights with a basic kitchenette that is no more than one flight up from ground level (bad knees). Does anyone have a suggestion?

Hotel Vardia as recommended by Rick. It’s above the town so you’ll want a car. Clean, beautiful view, and kitchenettes in the rooms. They also serve a good breakfast. My wife and I are here now.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Vardia in early-May and it was a wonderful place to stay. I agree that you’ll need a car. We stayed in a ground floor room that had one step up to the door. The first day at Hotel Vardia we had their great breakfast. The other days we bought food from one of the three grocery stores and had breakfast on our balcony overlooking the town and water. Perfect.

PS – I like a good cup of coffee in the morning, so I’d go to the breakfast area and they’d make me a Greek coffee and my wife a cappuccino (might have been 2 euro each)
