Itinerary help Mykonos and Paros day trips plus question about Delphi

As part of a 15 day trip to Greece in late September, we have scheduled 3 nights in Santorini (that number cannot be changed because of paid reservations) and 5 in Naxos. I had planned to schedule a day trip from Naxos to Mykonos/Delos and possibly one to Paros.
One option had been to leave Naxos one day sooner to go to Mykonos and stay over the final night before flying back to Athens, reducing the ferry trips by one. I have been reading about problems with the ferries in terms of scheduling as well as comfort, because only the Seajets are available for the timing I’d need.
Another would be to do the same approach for one or two nights on Paros or do that with a day trip.
Still another would be to drop our currently planned day in Delphi to pick up another island day.

Thanks so much for all suggestions.
Also, any advice between Naxos’ Hotel Glaris and Villa Nadia?
Again, thanks!

Daytrips to Delos leave from Mykonos, whether you are in Paros or Naxos, in any case you will have to go to Mykonos.

The crossing time is about the same from both islands.

From Paros It is possible that the ferry schedules are more suitable for your daytrip to Delos and also for your return to Athens (with Blue Star ferries if you want to avoid Seajets).
The ferry journey to Piraeus is also shorter from Paros

Boutique Hotel Glaros was the first hotel at St George beach. It has subsequently been totally renovated and is a high end destination just 20 meters from St George beach. A few years ago it was named as one of the top 10 boutique hotels in Greece by the times of london. It is our go to hotel at St George and are booked there for 3 nights in May.

I have never heard of Villa Nadia until today and you are the second one to mention it. The pictures look great. Given its location at the end of the beach furthest away from the main cluster of hotels I would suggest it is quite new so will have great amenities. What bothers me is the location on the map attached to their web site you can't get satellite view. If I could see images of its location I could determine if it is near a swampy area at that area of the beach. I tried to find it on booking.com which always provides the satellite view but it is not on that web site.

As for your plans for Delos the two tour boats doing that route have been docked for the past 2 years due to covid. You should make sure there are actually excursions available when you are there.

Just in case... On the keyboard the D and X keys are close, and there is a Naxia villa in Naxos.

Thank you. I have booked Hotel Glaris. Yes, that was a typo. It should have said Villa Nadia.

I probably have to choose between going to Mykonos for our final day before flying back to Athens or the same to Paros. Any further thoughts on that choice? Also, I could add a day to either of those choices if I did not go to Delphi. Again, I appreciate all thoughts. As background for this we will also spend time in Athens, the Nafplio area, and Meteora. Thank you.

you are still dreaming of the non-existent Villa Nadia!! The actual Villa NaXia is excellent and is often fully booked many months in advance.. usually not on booking agencies, ordinarily must be contacted direct ... haven't checked for 2022.

You have to ask Villa NaXia to change their name, it will be easier. :)

If you fly back to Athens you will probably have more flights from Mykonos than from Paros. And in Mykonos the airport is more quickly reached.

Personally, if I don't have a connection to take on another flight, I don't like to return to Athens by plane.

If the departure island is not too far from Athens like Mykonos or Paros, you spend more time in transfers and waiting than with the ferry
(I admit that I like the ferry and the atmosphere of the ports)

Thank you all very much!
I am inclined, after visiting Santorini and Naxos, to add Paros, and avoid the Mykonos stop but I am trying to decide I’d I will regret not going, even for a brief stay, while the option is available.

You won't be disappointed by Paros, and if you visit Delos, you will go to Mykonos anyway.

Daytrips to Delos start again from April 1st.

THat day excursion would deposit you on Delos about 10:30 and at about 12:30 - 12:45 you re-board to go to Mykonos .. about 30 mins. I believe the excursion vessel departs for paros about 4 - 4:30... so you have 3 - 3.5 hours on Mykonos... enough for a light lunch & explore the port town, take som e photos (even buy some luxury items at its designer boutiques!) ... a fair sampling of todays Mykonos. you'd miss the beaches, but u'll have better beach experiences on Naxos/Paros anyway.
