Islands close to Athens for overnite

I will be in Athens and wish to stay on nearby islands.
Aegina and Poros may be of interest based on what I read.
Pls suggest lodging and whether my visit is worth it.
Previously I have enjoyed Mykonos, Santorini, Etc
