Family of five—grandpa,grandma, mom, dad, and daughter 73 to 8 years old planning family vacation. Looking into travel among islands via skippered catamaran for a week in August with extra days for Athens. Has anyone done this, and have suggestions?

Sounds like fun! I’ve been looking at “Star Clipper” cruises for the Greek islands, let us know how your trip turns out.

Haven't done it before but I've been searching for quite some time now.
Which islands are you planning to visit? There are plenty of island groups Ionian Islands, Sporades, Cyclades, Dodecanese...
I checked some Greek news sites as well and found these suggestions:
