We are traveling to Greece with a 4-year old and plan to visit Athens and the Peloponnese. While we have rented a car and a car seat to drive around the Peloponnese, my question is regarding the need for car seats while using a Uber or a taxi while we are in Athens. Is it required by law or are taxis and Uber exempt from the need of a car seat for kids in the rear seat?

In Greece taxis are exempt from the use of seat belts and child restraint systems.

Yes because in Greece Uber taxis are official taxi drivers using the Uber app. Only licensed taxi drivers can work as a taxi
