Hi,
We are travelling this June and will be landing on IOS for a couple of days. Any suggestions on where to stay...in town?....or at the beach?
We do not have much time and are over 50-like to party for a night, but need a good nights rest as well.

Unfortunately we haven't researched this island yet so we really don't have any suggestions on places to stay on this island. I would recommend looking at a Lonely Planet guidebook or other Greek Islands guidebook. Sorry we couldn't help more.
Although in June Ios won't be the backpacker's 24/7 party island that it is in July and August, the main village where the ferry arrives will still have very lively nightlife then, although much of it is youth oriented. I think you might enjoy Mylopotas Beach's more laid-back atmosphere. There are bars and restaurants there, but it just isn't so much the main focus of the younger crowd in June.
