Am taking my 15 year to Skiathos in a few weeks time. Appreciate Greece has changed since 1991 but any particular tips for me re Skiathos.
We are staying at Aghia Paraskevi in self catering accomodation. Are there Mini Supermarkets around. Info I have to date is a little vague

Re your "how many Euros" question. This article: http://www.bbc.com/news/business-33205269 says "couples spend an average of around £500 in cash on a fortnight's holiday - on things like meals out, local trips and coffees. For a family, that figure is £700." (£500 = €700, £700 = €990). Hope this article helps.

silksense, €700 for a fortnight (€50 per day) did seam a little low for me. But the critical phrase is "spend .... in cash". It says on the next line "That does not include accommodation" (because they are already paid for on the internet when you booked), it is just evening meals, drinks and shopping.
It is assuming you just get to your resort (possibly on an island), and chill out for 2 weeks.

Ok well I'm not on any budget per se but have changed 1500 Euro which am sure should be enough. Accomodation already paid for. In current situation no harm in having excess Euro and can always use in Thailand in August any excess
