We will be in Athens in late September. My companion is 81 years old and I am 75. Although we are not officially handicapped and do not use wheelchairs, she uses hiking poles for balance. Walking up many stairs is difficult for us. How could we arrange to ascend the Acropolis hill without climbing too many stairs? We would be quite willing to pay an extra fee for easier access because I doubt that she could get to the Parthenon by walking.
Hi! It's been a while since I've been to the Acropolis. But I did recall there being an elevator.
I did a quick search online and here's one thing I found. Please vet this for yourself but it looks hopeful?

Not sure if you can reserve in advance but on the day I visited, the elevator was out of order.
