We are taking the Rick Steve's Athens and Heart of Greece tour in September... leaving in just a few weeks. I am concerned about the recent spate of serious fires northeast of Athens. Wondering if they are under control and about the impact to tourism of the area. I understand one of the underlying factors is extreme heat in the region. What are people experiencing related to heat and/or fires?
