Our Greece travel dreams are about to come true! Now we need a place to sleep.
Planning to stay 2 nights in Hydra, then visit two other islands from the list for 3 nights each. I have the RS guidebook, but I'm looking for updated hotel info for this summer. (Our trip is in late July!) All of these islands are gorgeous, so we're flexible about where to stay. We want to swim, see ancient sites, eat delicious food, and generally putter around prior to our scheduled bus tour on Crete.
Paros: Alexandra's Rooms are convenient and inexpensive. http://www.alexandrasrooms.gr

We enjoyed Hotel Leto in Hydra. Lovely hotel, convenient location & wonderful breakfast enjoyed on their patio. Letohydra.gr
Our favorite restaurant on Hydra was Restaurant Veranda. It is situated on the edge of the harbor, on a rooftop of an old traditional Hydraian house having magnificent views of the island harbor & beach.
Naxos: Alkyoni Beach Hotel on St. George Beach. We spent 6 nights and didn’t want to leave. Our favorite restaurant in Naxos: Nostimon Hellas. Excellent cuisine! We ate there twice.
Naxos has great beaches, historical sites and wonderful cuisine.

We enjoyed Hotel Leto in Hydra. Lovely hotel, convenient location & wonderful breakfast enjoyed on their patio.
Thank you Janis for triggering my memory.
That was where our RS tour stayed--- agree totally with Janis about the place
In Hydra, we came down to choosing between Hotel Sophia (right on the harbour) or Pensione Alkionides (up a quiet lane). Went with Alkionides because they answered their emails more promptly. Can recommend it. Nice rooms around a central courtyard. https://www.alkionidespension.com/
Grotta Hotel in Naxos was terrific. Small, family owned and operated by people who embody Greek hospitality. Amazing breakfast and great rooms. It is not on the beach, but we walked everywhere. Highly recommend. https://hotelgrotta.gr/
Naoussa, Paros- we enjoyed Hotel Kanales . We could easily walk into the town center. We loved this town, good restaurants, fishermen mending their nets, Octopus.
Thank you for all of these great suggestions!
On Hydra, the Hotel Sophia was already full, but I managed to get a reservation for the Hotel Leto.
I am now working on getting a room at the Grotta on Naxos. Mama's breakfast looks amazing!
