We would like hotel recommendations near the Acropolis for early May with a budget of $300-350/per night. We are hoping for a quieter location with restaurants close by.

We stayed at the Athens Cypria Hotel when we were with a tour group and really loved the location. Walkable from Syntagma Square metro. It's off Ermou, the pedestrian shopping street, so lots of activity, shopping, places to eat, so it might not be as quiet as you are looking for but we didn't think it was super loud. Rooftop bar has a fabulous view of the Acropolis, we were there every night. About a mile from the Acropolis.

Stayed here twice now. Short Walk to the Acropolis, the Metro, the Plaza and restaurants.
The first time we stayed there, a Rick Steves group was also there.
