We stayed at the blue dolphins in Firastefani and enjoyed it very much. Had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the caldera. The price last year was $230 per night.

For restaurants I highly recommend Aktaion within walking distance of Blue Dolphins.

It's just a guessing game unless you reveal what your maximum nightly hotel budget will be, in EURO, separately for each couple. Also, which village have you chosen for your stay?

LIthies Traditional Homes in Firostefani was fabulous! Maria will ensure that you make memories to last a lifetime. Another vote for Aktaion. I would suggest making a reservation ahead of time. People without one had to turned away the evening we were there due to lack of space.

We just last week had one of the loveliest stays of our lives at Pantelia Suites in Fira. Views to die for, staff that was incredible, comfortable rooms, breakfast on the terrace. It was not cheap, but worth every penny of our short stay.

Next door is the restaurant 1500BC; fantastic food, fantastic service, also views to die for, again, not cheap, but a heck of a treat.

I second Pantelia Suites in Fira. We stayed here for three nights in June and it was the best. The staff is wonderful. The breakfast is served on the terrace or patio and made to order. It was very special eating outside and looking down into the Caldera. There is a small pool area. This hotel is not cheap, but it was well worth the splurge for us. It made Santorini even more special. It is literally around the corner from everything in Fira, but so quiet at the same time.

Another vote for Lithies Traditional Homes. It was wonderful! Maria took such good care of us, we had a complimentary ride from and to the airport and the view was spectacular!

I stayed at Lithies Traditional Homes in May for 4 nights. My first time in Santorini and Greece. I was drawn to the style of these homes. Not only is the transportation convenient, I was provided with my own breakfast table over looking the caldera and just a few steps outside my door, a private lounge chair and evening (cocktail) table to watch the lovely sunsets. The pool was open in the evening which was also within steps of my lodging. It was more than I expected and truly spectacular. Maria makes you feel special, like a family member who finally decided to visit! I plan on returning next year.
