We are arriving at the Athens Airport one day before the rest of our group. We are picking up a rental car that day. The next day we will pick up the rest at the airport and head straight to Delphi. I thought we would head to Sounion area and spend the night near there but I would love some recommendations on accommodations in that area. Clean, well located and maybe interesting is most important to us.

A friend of my friend was near Sounion. As far as I remember he and his friend took B&B, where happy about it. I will try to contact him to get more info. As I understood you stay there for one night but it also depends on what do you plan to do. Like spending a lot of time outside? By the way, do you usually stay in hotels or B&B?
I did end up booking from Airbnb. Usually when we have traveled we have used the suggestions in Rick's book for accommodations. We have never been disappointed. Thank you for replying.
