Can anyone recommend a hotel in Athens for 3 days?
In April this year we stayed at the Hera Hotel just to the south of the Plaka for 4 or 5 nights, near the Acropolis Metro stop and the south entrance to the Acropolis. Clean, good beds and bedding, 24 hour front desk. Breakfast was good. There are maybe 6 or 8 restaurants with outdoor tables just a few minutes up the street. I think I got the recommendation for Hera Hotel from the RS Forum last year.
Ava Suites in Plaka. Stayed four nights in May 2022. Great breakfast and loved how we could walk anywhere, including National Gardens, Acropolis.

Reasonably-priced hotel with excellent breakfast and rooftop view of the Acropolis, in between the Plaka and Syntagma Square: https://www.booking.com/hotel/gr/omiros.html
Huge selection of accommodations but if you don't give us a budget then we can't make good recommendations.
We loved everything about our stay at InnAthens Hotel. Location, room, staff, breakfast were all top notch with a reasonable price point. Highly recommend.
Attalos hotel, it’s not right beside the Plaka or Acropolis, but it’s not far, and it’s a short walk to Syntagma square, and Monistiraki square is just down the block. Stayed here for two nights prior to the tour which used the Hera hotel, which is a nice hotel, but we found it noisy. Attalos has a rooftop patio with a view of the Acropolis, just not as close as some.
