Our planning is continuing and we're up to Olympia where, for some strange reason, most hotels are already booked for September.
One, the Hotel Bacchus - outside Olympia, does have limited availability and its recommended by Rick - but some of the reviews are quite poor. Does anyone have experience with this hotel and would you recommend its?

We stayed there in 2017. It was fine. Nice quiet rural setting. Pool. Good food. I would go back.

We stayed there in June 2017. We enjoyed other places we stayed in Greece for the same price a bit more but it certainly was adequate. Breakfast was quite good. Pool was chilly. Olympia is a manufactured town so it doesn't have the charm or charming lodgings a lot of other Greek places can offer. A bit of a drive out of town to get here. But based on what else we saw in Olympia, we'd certainly stay here again.
