My fiancé and I will be honeymooning in Greece in July-August 2018. We are planning two weeks divided among Athens and some of the Greek Islands. We are thinking Mykonos, Santorini and Milos - for those that have been are these the three best islands for scenery, beaches and relaxation?
What parts of the islands do you recommend for that listed above and any hotel recommendations?
Santorini is honeymoon, but it can be pricey. Ck rates bef u decide.
While i enjoy mykonos and Rhodes it is not honeymoon style imo.
Tania Milos is a perfect honeymoon hotel on Milos. Splurge on the top floor suite with two balconies (one for sunrise, one for sunset). Great breakfasts, and we loved the fact that the breakfast room was open all day, with cakes or fruits or juice if you need a snack. I would book as soon as you have your dates settled.
Santorini is probably a must-see for a honeymoon; others can give you hotel recommendations there.

I too am not a Mykonos fan.. its fine.. but its very touristy and you already have included Santorini.. I would take a look at Naxos.. we loved it

All three islands are amazing. I've been to all of them and I'd say that Milos is my favourite. Plenty of beaches and things to do, not as expensive as Santorini and Mykonos. Milos boasts some of the best beaches in Greece... It is renowned as the "couple island", at least that is what the locals told me when I went there. I truly had a great time, loved every part of it! Santorini is great for 2-3 days. If you are staying longer I suggest you try Milos or Mykonos since you'll have more things to do. In any case, you can try Greek Island Hopping and see more islands by spending 2-3 nights on each one if you are looking for a more adventurous summer. Paros, Naxos, Anafi, Ios, Mykonos, Amorgos, Santorini, Serifos, Sifnos, Milos can be easily combined.
Anafi and Amorgos are great for relaxation. Paros, Ios, Mykonos, Santorini have a vivid nightlife. Milos has the most beautiful beaches for sure, more than 70! :) Try googling photos from Kleftiko Beach, Sarakiniko Beach and Tsigrado Beach, you'll see what I mean...
