Our group of 6 people. I see many cooking classes and lessons but I haven’t seen any in home experiences . We learned so much from about the local customs and the people from the previous experiences and had two unforgettable evenings with local families. We are trying to experience that again on Naxos . matt barrett guides your thru the greek islands with so much info about the islands, just search. enjoy the food, we did while on a cruise and stopping in the ports. you can always ask host/hostess where you are staying for info about lunches/dinners or even stop in a restaurant and ask.

I believe you are looking for a more authentic (and relaxed) cooking & dining experience than you can experience on a few hours onshore from a cruise. And luckily, Naxos`does offer several good options -- https://basiliko.gr/en/cooking-lessons-en/ -- is the best-known one. It's farm-based, off in the countryside, Ano Potamia (Ano indicates height, its a hillside village).. and if you cannot book a cooking-lesson date, you can have a leisurely luncheon on same premises. Everyone who's reported on cooking OR eating with these Naxians has praised the experience so highly. You'd be in the home of the owners... not in big restaurant.
Naxos is still such a fertile productive island (I pray its recent tourism boom will not affect its farming economy), several of its restaurants are notable for specializing in totally Naxian meats & produce. I treasure so many experiences there... the bus having to stop for a herd of goats slowly meandering up the road... sitting on a fence watching a farmer shear a sheep in early May... at my little shop behind our beach hotel, eggs not in cartons, but in a basket on the counter, refilled daily from the owner's chicken coop.

I can not suggest something more than Basiliko Naxos cooking lessons. It is a total farm to table experience . Very warm and kind people . Except from the cooking we participated also in a small hiking tour and at the end we danced with the owners Greek folk
