Help with 16 night itinerary?

Hi all. My wife and I are taking a last minute trip to Greece leaving 3 weeks from today. I've been scouring this forum for a week or so and have taken a lot of your advice already, you are all greatly appreciated. This is an R&R trip, we want to keep the pace and stress levels to a minimum. I've booked the front and back ends of the trip and need assistance with 6 nights in the middle. I would prefer places like Naxos, Milos, Hydra but my wife is more of the Mykonos and Santorini type. I booked those based on very tight availability and not by what makes the most sense route wise.

9/21 arrive Athens 10:30am--->fly to Mykonos
4 nights Mykonos- Mykonos Thea
? 3-4 nights Naxos ?
? 2-3 nights ?
3 nights Santorini- Villa Renos
3 nights Athens- Plaka AirBnB
10/7 1:30pm flight back to U.S.

Any help with those middle 6 nights would be great! We are not averse to flying to Crete and then back to Santorini but it doesn't seem to make much sense.

Thanks again for any advice or suggestions.

Either add time in Naxos and Santorini or spend time on Antiparos, easily reached from Paros by frequent local shuttle ferry.

For years I've thought that if I ever stay on Mykonos it would be at the Mykonos Thea. It looks fantastic.

If this is an R&R trip, I'd spend the entire six nights on Naxos. Get a hotel on St. George beach, so you can easily walk to town. Rent a car for a day to explore the island. There's plenty to do and see, and some great restaurants.

You can easily ferry from Mykonos to Naxos and from Naxos to Santorini (no advance reservation needed on the ferries -- just get tickets a day or two in advance).

I hope you've already made your flight reservations from Santorini back to Athens.

Lee- thanks! And yes, Mykonos Thea seems like a great place to acclimate and get over jet lag.

Charlene- good advice, thank you. I have not booked the Santorini-Athens flight but there are plenty of seats still available and multiple flights.
