Greek Ionian island hopping in winter

Hey everyone!

Inspired by the series "The Empress" and the compelling book "Under the spell of a myth: Empress Sisi in Greece", I want to visit the Ionian islands this winter and somehow visit the places the Empress also saw on her many trips.

So I was wondering: Does anybody know about ferryboat services between the islands Corfu, Kefalonia, Lefkada and Ithaca in winter? I know there are boats going in summer. But are there regular services to do island-hopping in winter? I would love to go hiking and really look forward to this trip

Thanks for your help!

Check the Ferryhopper.com website to see what there is available.

In addition to ferryhopper see openseas.gr , you can check ferry schedules by going back in time and looking for those for winter 2021/2022.
Schedules are generally similar from year to year.

If you can't find ferries, don't be surprised, I forgot to add that even in summer the ferry connections between the Ionian islands are very complicated, even impossible if you don't pass through the mainland.
That said you can go to Ithaca from the port of Sami in Kefalonia
