Greece Weather in the Spring

What is weather around Greece like late April thru Mid May?

I know it can vary depending where you are, so in terms of the stops on the RS Greece tour -- a mix of cities, mountains, and islands. I know it probably won't be super hot and rainy at that time, but I also would want nice weather for the mountain and island stops.

Thanks for your help.

PS -- I should also ask, how are crowds at that time of the year?

We were just there from first of May until the 24th. we had primarily good weather but did have a few days here and there that were rainy. We were on Santorini and Naxos early, and then moved to Delphi and the Peloponnese for the next 2 weeks. ended in Athens for a few days. we liked the cooler weather and fewer crowds so a bit of rain was not a problem. just planned an indoor museum day on those days. did tour Olympia in the rain with umbrellas but it wasn't uncomfortable.

I was in the Peloponnese and Athens in late May. It was warm/pleasant except in the mountains, where we had one night in the 40s.
Based on past visits to the Mediterranean, I would think rain a possibility in April.
You probably still need to specify the locations, as there are multiple tours.

Great itinerary!
I would only worry about it being cold-cold (I like to check wunderground for historical temps) in the mountain town. The area had an unusual cold spell this spring, but I think typically quite pleasant by May. It will absolutely not be beach weather--It all depends on your own preference for temps I suppose. I'd be packing pants and layers.
We found everywhere in the Peloponnese to be remarkably un-crowded. The Acropolis was the only unpleasantly crowded place, which is to be expected I suppose!
