Greece—warmest water in early/mid June

We’re taking a two week trip to Greece beginning on June 5. We are looking to end our driving trip with a few days on an island. Given that it is a bit early in the season I’m looking for recommendations islands with warmer beaches/water.

I've been in Crete, and in the Cycladic islands at that exact time... and the water doesn't differ by 2-3 degrees. The difference would be in the more northern island groups such as Ionic (Corfu, Kefalonia) or the N. E. Aegean, where you doubtless are not going anyway. Why not use google instead of having us do it? I Just googled Greek Sea TEmperatures in june and Look! https://seatemperature.info/june/greece-water-temperature.html ... even shows map comparing areas, and it varies by -- 1 degree.
Seriously, the water is fine in early June, unless people are from Florida and used to bathwater ... being from the N.E., I find it wonderful.

We’ve visited mid May and found the water swimmable - but we are from Canada 😂

The southern coast of Crete had warmer water than other places in Greece when we visited in early October.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I also appreciate the link. Right now we’re looking into Páros and Kefalonia. I’d welcome any thoughts on either island.

Again, thanks!
