Given Greek orthodox eating is vegan before Easter, will there be a variety of eating options during our trip this spring?
Not all Greeks are Greek Orthodox. While you will find vegan dishes on restaurant menus, they will also have meat, poultry, fish and seafood offered.
You will find little difference in taverna menus before and after easter, as religious observance tends to be fairly nominal. It is generally quite easy to eat veggie or vegan in Greece but it is still quite unusual amongst Greeks themselves.
