Greece Trip Timing

We will be in the Czech Republic June 14-18. Our 13 yr old daughter loves Greek mythology, so we would like to visit Greece as well. My question is - should we go to Greece before or after? I think there will be fewer tourists before, which is good, but will the weather be much different? And will everything be open in early June? Thank you.

but will the weather be much different?

Some random hot/cool spell could hit, but otherwise no meaningful difference on either side of your projected dates

And will everything be open in early June?

Assuming covid is not a factor, it will certainly be 'tourist' season and everything would be open, from that standpoint

We were in Greece’s couple years ago the last week of May and the first week of June. By the first week of June, it was hot!!

I certainly would go before if you are thinking about the weather.

Plan around airfare and related logistics. Also, do you want the highlight of your daughter's trip to be first or last?

Thank you all for your input. KBK, that is a good question. I'll have to think about that one.

Of course it depends on where, and post-pandemic who knows how tourism will be affected, but I visited in late May 2019, and in the Peloponnese, we were delighted to often have sites nearly to ourselves! It was warm enough for swimming, but I would not expect a significant amount of change once June commences.
