We are planning an eleven day trip to Greece at the end of September 2025. We are focusing on the Peloponnesus peninsula. So far our trip looks like this
Arrive Athens from international flight
2 nights Athens
Go to the airport and rent a car then drive to Monemvasia
2 nights Monemavsia
Drive to Mani peninsula
1 night Gerolimenas
2 nights Kardamyli
Then drive to Mystra, visit Mystra then continue on to Nafplio
3 night Nafplio
We were thinking of visiting Delphi after Nafplio our last day. Does anyone have advice on visiting Delphi and then driving back and spending the night en route the airport. Maybe half way.
Also I keep thinking about visiting Hydra for a night or two instead of going to Delphi.
I am open to suggestions on any aspect of the trip because I have never been to the Peloponnesus peninsula before. Thank you!

If you are flying out the next morning, I wouldn't be looking for a place 'half way'. Use the "Search" bar for 'hotels near Athens airport". It should produce useful results.
Delphi vs Hydra is strictly personal choice. Classical Ancient history vs iconic white washed buildings on a Greek island.

Our flight is not till 5pm. Near Athens Airport might be our best bet because I can’t find much in between.
Have you visited either Hydra? Curious ? If we do that instead I would add an extra night there. Delphi looks interesting but a lot of extra driving.

I did the RS tour of Greece so did go to both.
Hard to choose which one to do, if doing only one is possible.
I can only repeat myself and say it's a personal choice. Completely different kind of experience

Consider visiting Mystras on way to Monemvasia instead of way to Nafplio. There is more to do in Nafplio than Monemvasia so seems like a better allocation of time.
It is about 3 hours from Delphi to Athens airport so you could spend night in Delphi if you have a 5 pm flight. I wouldn't stay near the airport for a flight that late.
