I am beginning to research a trip to Greece and Turkey. Two of us will be going alone, toting the RS guidebooks. In a guidebook I glanced at when I was in AAA last spring, it noted that women were in danger of being attacked in Greece. I also know a college student that was attacked on a bus in Athens and escaped simply because her father grabbed her and pulled her off the bus.
We are careful travelers, sticking to museums and famous sights and we are not afraid to travel alone. But these warnings are a concern so I would appreciate some feedback from anyone.
