Visiting Greece (Athens & Santorini) and Ireland in June on a tight budget: In order to avoid going back into Athens, is it best to fly from Santorini to Dublin (10-12 hours) or is there a better idea? Thanks.
Have you checked with Ryanair for cheap flights?
Nancy,
There doesn't seem to be an easy option on that particular route. One of the best appears to be an EasyJet flight from Santorini to Gatwick (flight time 1H:50M). The flight times and costs will vary depending on which day you'll be travelling. From LGW you should be able to connect with Aer LIngus or RyanAir to Dublin (flight time about 1H:20M).
You should be able to travel that route in much less than 10-12 hours.
Thanks folks - appreciate you :)
A good search site for flights within Europe is Skyscanner: http://www.skyscanner.com/
