My wife and I will be in Greece for 3 weeks in September 2026 and then travel to Brindisi, Italy. We will be travelling with check in luggage. I would appreciate suggestions on how to get to Brindisi. I have looked at ferry hopper and realise that there is no ferry from Patras which means a ferry from Igoumenitsa. We intend to hire a car and travel around the Peleponese.

First, you need to look for car rental agencies with an office in Igoumenitsa, specifically major companies like Europcar, Avis, Budget, etc., that allow you to drop off a rental car at a different Greek location than the one where you picked it up. There will almost certainly be an extra charge.
