I am planning a 14-day trip to Turkey and Greece this summer for our family of five, including our three boys ages 15, 13, and 10. They are fairly experienced travelers, having been to Italy/Ireland/France/Peru and a few other places over the past the past four years. We love history, although the kids are just as happy going to the beach as the historical sites. Husband struggles to relax and prefers to be on the go, so I am trying to alternate between the busy days and the relaxing ones. I am looking for overall feedback on our itinerary, and particularly on getting from Poros to Napflio area (we are going to Napflio next, but is it easier to go back to Athens and get the car there? Or get a car in Napflio? How would we get from Poros to Napflio? We will have the car for the rest of the trip and need to return it to Athens).
Thank you so much for any advice. This forum has been so helpful in planning past trips!
