Greece Itinerary Feedback Request

Hi All and thanks in advance for your opinions and expertise – this is such a great space! Below is our itinerary and we would love to get any feedback. Some background – we are a family of four with two teenagers and want to combine historic sites with beaches BUT we only have 8 days and want to limit ourselves to 2 hotels with day trips rather than hopping from place to place. Also rental cars are not an option Have already been to all of the famous popular islands so will stay closer to the mainland this time. How does below look and thanks:
Day 1 – Arrive at Athens Airport at 820 – Car service to Nafplio – staying at Hotel Grande Bretagne for 4 nights. Get there by Noon and explore city – Arvanitia Beach.
Day 2 – Unique Greek Tours – Day trip to Epidavros-Mycenae- Ancient Nemea
Day 3 – Pegasus Tours – Day trip to Hydra and Spetses
Day 4 – Finish Napflio and go to nearby Karathona Beach
Day 5 – Car service to Athens – staying at InnAthens Hotel for 4 nights. Explore city
Day 6 – More city during the day with 5PM Acropolis Guided Tour w/ Museum
Day 7 – Day trip to Aegina – ok to buy ferry tickets the day of?
Day 8 – Day trip to Lake Vouligmeni for more swimming
Day 9 – Leave in afternoon

You don't give any dates -- any reason why not? because when u ask about ferry tickets to Aegina, I always want to ask... what day? In the summer, this is Athenian's closest getaway, so it could be VERY packed... Best to do Aegina on a weekday.... if need be, trade with another day in your Athens stretch. For convenience you can buy tickets the night before at a travel agency by your hotel -- there's one in almost every block!. That way you can see schedule... Ask for an Open-Deck Conventional ferry, to get a pleasant 1-hr "mini cruise" enjoying the sea scape. Avoid the hydrofoils - only inside seating, no view. With 4 of you, a taxi or car-service to Piraeus is smart, takes you right to boat ramp. Should be no more than €25 in morning traffic; ask your hotel to be sure.

IF OP Had a few more days, maybe Corinth & Delphi would be fine... otherwise it would need tours -- and a 1-day group bus tour to Delphi, as reported a few ttimes on this forum, is not very satisfactory. OP only has 7 1/2 days so to suggest more is just tantalizing, not practical.

Thanks for the good info! This will be in July so we are expecting a lot of tourists. Good suggestion on the ferry tickets - I downloaded the Ferry Ap and registered so I can quickly book tickets prior. But we do not want to buy a return trip as we are not sure how much time we will spend on Aegina. I assume we will be able to get on a boat back to Athens - any reason to worry about these selling out and us being stranded or am I overthinking this?

As for Corinth and Delphi - they were on our list but just not enough days. When we travel between Athens and Napflio - will we at least get to look at Corinth?

It will be with a car service as we are not renting a car so not sure if we can make that happen or not.
