We have a last-minute window for a two-week trip. Considering going to Greece for a self-drive tour. Any thoughts?

What kind of thoughts are you asking for? Where to go? What to eat? Where to rent a car? A few clues would help., otherwise my thoughts are that Greece is wonderful.

Sorry -- I should have been more specific. Is it totally crazy to do this trip the last two weeks in February with 10 days advance notice?
We would plan to spend 3 days in Athens and then rent a car and roughly follow the Rick Steves itinerary. What areas would it be best to try to hire private guides as I am not going to have lots of time to do my own research?
Are there any specific places that might be best to skip during this time of year?

After touring Athens, take bus from Athens to Nafplio and hire private driver or set up a local tour to explore peloponnese region. You can visit places like Myceneae, Epidavros, Corinth, Monemvasia and Kardamyli.
