Greece for first time in April

We are planning for Greece in mid April, perhaps starting in Athens, then the Pellopennese and Corfu . We hope for 2 weeks in Greece, then to hop over to Cinque de Terre in Italy. One month total, medium to low budget. Open to alternative ideas such as Croatia or Turkey. Any suggestions or critiques from anyone? John and Donna

I finally went to Greece in 2017 and loved it. Athens has a lot of sights and good food. I took the RS tour around the Peloponnese - splendid. Consider the timing. Easter Sunday in Greece is April 28. Expect most sights and perhaps most restaurants to be closed. You'll want a car for the Peloponnese, and lots of mountain driving, signage mostly just in Greek.
