I like to take food/walking tours the day I land. I find it helps with jet lag, feeds me, and keeps me awake until bedtime. Also, a great introduction to my new temporary home
Any Athens culinary tours recommendations?

We did an Athens food tour through Athens Walks, and thought it was excellent. Lots of food, lots of information.
We took a food tour with Culinary Backstreets. It was excellent.
We took the Eating Europe Food evening Tour this past May. Our guide, Vasso, is a native of Athens and we visited some really unique places. The evening tour does not visit the Central Market, so we went back ourselves. If you want to experience the Central Market with a local, then taking a day tour that includes it would be fun.
We did a food tour in Athens through www.greeking.me and it was outstanding (I know that's a funny web address but it's correct).
