Greece Easter Sunday

We are going to be in Athens the weekend of Greek Orthodox Easter. We’re actually going to be on the RS Greece tour starting Sat April 23. On Easter Sunday, our guide will take us on a walking tour and then a traditional Easter lunch. We’ll have the rest of the day to ourselves. I’m sure our guide will give us advice on what to do but hoping to get some tips now from you knowledgeable folks. Was thinking of Lykavettis Hill but open to other ideas.

Lycabettus Hill sounds like a nice way to spend Easter. You have to get rather far up the hill before you get to the tram that takes you to the top. Maybe you would want to take a taxi up there. You will be in the very nice residential Kolonaki neighborhood. If you have a free night for dinner in Athens, return to this area for good dining options.
