Hi! We will be in Greece for 15 nights from end November to mid December.
We would like to ask for some advice regarding our planned places to go to. We are more outdoorsy, love some hiking, great scenery, love food and local cuisine, some history is good for us but too much can be overwhelming. Exploring quaint streets and markets bargain hunting for cool art pieces, pottery embroidery is right down our alley too:)
We arrive Athens and wish to fly domestic immediately to santorini to save time at the airport for around 2 or 3 nights( we know it's low season but just to catch a romantic sunset maybe? How many nights should we do here?)
From there fly to Thessaloniki spend maybe a couple of nights here soaking in the vibes of the city. Any must dos here?
Drive down to meteora. Do a day or 2 of hiking.
Drive on to Epirus, any must dos here?
Thereafter drive to Peloponnese. Mani to do some hiking.
Lastly, 3 nights in Athens. City vibes, flea markets, food, a little bit of history. Then out and on home.
Really appreciate any advice from like minded people and recommendations.
