Great private guide for Corinth

I found great recommendations for Tas Papaioannou on trip advisor. There were 6 of us and we did not want to do the regular cruise excursions, as we like to get a little more off the beaten path experience and away from the herds. We set this up by email, explaining that there were 6 adults and we wanted to see the sights, but we wanted more of a local experience. We needed him to pick us up in nafplion at the cruise ship port and have us back by 5 pm. Not knowing what to expect, we found Tas to be exactly as advertised. He is a Greek Australian. He speaks American English with an Australian accent. He is very personable and fun to be with. We saw all the must see places, some things that are not on the tour circuit, had a great lunch (family style assortment of homemade Greek dishes) at a small village overlooking the ancient Corinth site, and had a really fun day. He is in the early stages of building a touring company and is extremely well priced. Our total bill for the day was 300 euros (restaurant not included). One thing to be aware of; he provides transportation and lots of history and background, but at the sites you are self conducting, so do research on the individual places you are visiting. His email address is anastpapa72@gmail.com.
