I went to that Greece website you posted and read it. I do it see anything about the U.S.
There is a digital pass good with 33 countries, the US is not listed.
It is ridiculous that the US cannot join this covid pass proof of vax that even places like Togo have managed to join. And plenty of other places all around he world, like Panama. How many people are visiting Greece from those countries.
These digital passes have been around a long time now and we in the US are still digging paper covid proofs out of our pockets and purses. Meanwhile others are making a buck off of forged US covid vaccine cards

treemos I don't understand your comments. The hyperlink tommy posted clearly includes visitors from the USA.

Here is what it said
Greece’s Civil Aviation Authority scrapped a requirement for travellers from the United States, Canada and Australia to present a negative Covid-19 test, provided they have a vaccination certificate or a certificate of recent illness.

The new measure took effect on Saturday and will apply until February 21st

That link is for an online website. Not the official one. I looked at Greece's official travel website....travel.gov.gr and it hasn't been updated to include USA, Canada, or Australia. I'll wait until I see it there before I start breaking plates.

Has anyone tried opening up the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) on the official Greek website? Even though we aren't going until May, I wanted to see what the form looks like. So I clicked on travel.gov.gr and was brought to a "Login" form where you enter your email address and create a password and then click on "Register". They then send you an email with a link that you click on to activate your account. When I did this, I received a message that I have already created an account. This is as far as I can go. I cannot reach the PLF. It seems so simple. I can't figure out what I did wrong. Any thoughts?

The link worked for me.

How far ahead of a trip can you complete the PLF? I haven't done it, so does something arrive by phone or cn we print it out?

I had no problem filling out the PLF form and got the code back almost instantly via email.

I did one for last year's trip but had to cancel due to the virus. I didn't get a questioning email why I didn't show up.

You can submit the form any time you want even weeks/months ahead of your arrival.

If you know when and where you are going you can submit it now.

Thank you everyone. I have our flight reservations and hotel reservations so I could fill it out now. I hope what happened to me earlier was just a weird quirk. I will try again later.

tommyk5, just curious, after you clicked on "register" did you receive the email that sends you the link to activate your account? And what happened when you clicked on that link? Did it immediately bring you to the PLF? How far away is your trip?

Thanks!

kmkwoo:

I haven't registered yet for my trip which is scheduled for Sept. 25-Oct. 12 yet. There's plenty of time and who knows what the situation will be with Covid which will be the major deciding factor for travel this year. Hopefully the infection rates continue to go down world-wide.

I can't remember the process for doing the PLF Form for last year. I do know it was easy and received confirmation and the QR code quickly after submitting

Hundreds of thousands of people have submitted the PLF form and from what I have heard there were few issues.

You may want to go to the Trip Adviser Greece forum for a lot more help with the form and other covid-related issues.

Delta is requiring a covid test unless that will change with this new news. Thank you.

Since Greece is not requiring a negative Covid test to enter the country I doubt Delta will require one. I haven't seen anything on their website regarding that.

However, the US is still requiring a negative Covid test to enter the US. That may change but for now you'll need to get tested to return to the US

This is making it easier for me and I hope it stays. I'll be in Greece in seven weeks but I'll be arriving from the UK.
