Fragrance-Free or “Free & Clear” Laundry Detergent Local Options?

Does anyone have recommendations for a fragrance-free laundry detergent to buy while in Greece?

We are traveling in Greece for 2 weeks, first in Athens, then renting a place on the coast, then finishing in Thessaloniki.

We will have access to a washing machine while on the coast. However, we do not have enough laundry detergent. One of our travelers needs scent-free or “free and clear” detergent. We use Tide Free and Clear at home, for example.

We have tried to find something similar in Athens without luck at the local stores we are near (a Greek supermarket and a Lidl).

I saw this thread that recommended baby laundry detergent, but even those seem to have a scent.

I appreciate any help!

Thanks!
Chris

There is probably an "AB" supermarket near where you are. (search with Google).
You should find this product in these supermarkets.

These two detergents are fragrance-free:

If you are in Athens (I assume in the Plaka district and its surroundings) there is one near the Acropolis metro station at 8 Athanasiou Diakou street, and another one further south at 44-46 Drakou Street, in the Koukaki district

On the labels look for the term: Χωρίς Άρωμα
which means fragrance free.
(this is pronounced phonetically "Koriss Aroma")

Or show it to a supermarket employee

Thank you so much for the info! This is super helpful.

We are actually staying in the Palaio Faliro area. Not the most convenient to much of the tourist stuff, but we can look in those neighborhoods. We might also try to find an AB on our ride up to Volos.

Thanks again!

There are several supermarkets in Palaio Faliro (and not only AB).
It shouldn't be hard to find what you're looking for.

I don't know anything about fragrance-free detergent but maybe you could find it in a pharmacy (or at least ask there, you'll have more chance of finding someone who speaks English)

Are you already on your trip or is it coming up?

If you haven't left yet, you could consider laundry sheets like Earth Breeze, which has a fragrance free version. They pack easily. I've brought them on trips before and they work great. You can use them for hand washing or put them in a washing machine at a laundromat.

Yes we are here. I wish we had thought of that. We do have a few Seventh Generation pods (which are compressed powder versus liquid) but we don’t have a lot and haven’t had a lot of luck with them (took some in a trip to Maine and they didn’t dissolve. Rey we’ll).

Yes, there’s a Lidl and a Sklavenitis a few blocks from us but we didn’t find anything. Pharmacy is a good idea, Thanks!
