Can anyone recommend a food tour in Athens?
Here are a few organizations in Athens that offer food tours:

Since we do our own "food tours" (it just involves walking and eating), I have no idea which one to recommend, but I'm sure they're all great and you'll get more good recommendations in addition to these 3.
We loved our food tour in Athens, which we booked through GetYourGuide:

I especially enjoyed that the food stops were carefully chosen to represent Greek traditions, and we learned a little about those traditions at each stop. Here is the review that I wrote at the time.
Our guide was delightful. It's obvious that she takes pride in her job.
I loved the variety of the food stops and the information that she shared at each one. I also liked that each stop - each food and location - were carefully chosen to represent Greek culture and food traditions. From the family owned shop making Greek breakfast pastries, to the coffee shop that makes Greek coffee in the traditional way, with each stop we learned something interesting about Greek food traditions.
This was a pleasant day with an enthusiastic guide and delicious food samplings!
Since GetYourGuide does not offer guided tours of its own but is simply an online platform based in Germany that offers tours worldwide through local companies, I made a quick comparison and found that the €79 food tour mentioned by CWsocial is very similar, and probably the €65 one offered by Alternative Athens, the Athens-based company.
When I looked at the GYG listing, it said the provider was Greeking.me. I couldn't find their listing for the tour so I didn't link it. It's also possible that Greeking.me offers the tour but another company fulfills it.
I couldn't find their listing for the tour

There are a few good options.
Cozymeal (they focus on food: cooking classes, food tours, etc.): https://www.cozymeal.com/gr/athens/food-tours
GYG (they do everything): https://www.getyourguide.com/gr/athens/food-tours
You might check to see what Culinary Backstreets offers. They have multiple tours in Athens.
While I have not taken any of their tours in Athens, I have taken Culinary Backstreet tours in 4 different cities (Lisbon, Marseille, Tokyo, Osaka). All have been excellent.
Thanks for finding that, JoLui!!
