Hi, anyone know how reliable the flights are from Venice to Zakynthos?
My family is considering traveling from nyc to:
Venice for 4 days;
Flying from Venice to Zakynthos (2 hour direct flight)
Zakynthos for 5-6 days
Flying to Athens
Athens 2-3 days
Flying back to NY
Any thoughts on this itinerary? We are a family with 2 kids (ages 8&10)
Direct flights from Venice to Zakynthos are operated by the young Spanish low-cost airline Volotea.
This airline is very well established in France and operates flights from provincial cities. Personally, if I have another choice, I avoid Volotea, even if it means paying much more with another airline.
Note that, like all low-cost airlines, the attractive base price does not include cabin or checked baggage, seat selection, flight change options, meals and drinks (even a glass of water or a coffee).
