First trip to Greece:Cyclades Islands with kids in early 20’s

Hello everyone,
We are planning 6-7 nights in the Cyclades Islands after a week in the Amalfi Coast. We are traveling with our two kids in their early 20’s so they of course want to go to Mykonos and Santorini. We will going the first week of June.

Where would you recommend we go and how many nights on each and if there are other islands that may be close to maybe only go to Mykonos for a night. We were also told about a cruise line called Celestyal that has a7 night cruise from Athens, has anyone heard anything good about this cruise line that visits these islands and more? What would you do as first time visitors to make sure our children’s age group has fun as well? Thank you for your advice!

We went to Greece for the first time also with our twenty something kids. They said they wanted to go to Santorini and Mykonos too. I told them we were going to go to Santorini but not Mykonos- that they were the two most expensive islands so we were only going to visit one.

Our second island was Naxos. My two sons (20 and 24 at the time) joined us at dinner the first night. The first thing out of their mouth was “Naxos is even better than Santorini!”

Consider planning a trip you would like not them. I did that, taking account everyone’s interests. We all had a wonderful time. There were 4 twenty somethings and three of us in our 50s (my husband, me, and his brother).

I had expected my two sons at least to go out and party. But they did not. They were too tired from touring all day!
