How necessary is it to get advanced ferry reservations from Athens to Hydra? (We are planning on going April 2, 2024)

You can book your tickets online with the ferry company Alpha Lines (you will have 20% discount on roundtrip).
On April 2, the first departure is at 9:30 a.m.
Or simply go to the port of Piraeus and get your ticket at a ticket office before boarding the ferry
