Ferry from Santorini to Naxos

I will be going to Greece in June of 25. Should I book our ferry ride too Naxos ahead of time or would it be ok to get tickets the day we plan on taking the ferry? Thanks

You can book in advance for June, but you could also take your tickets the day before, on June 25 there will be 8 Santorini → Naxos ferries which can carry a total of more than 8000 passengers.

Avoid the Express Jet and the Superjet 2, they are very uncomfortable small catamarans without the possibility of going outside.

Book directly with the ferry company

Blue Star ferries:

https://www.bluestarferries.com/en-gb

Or Seajets:

https://www.seajets.com/

By booking on the websites you will receive your tickets by email with a QR code to present upon boarding.

Thank you. So do you think it’s a good idea to not book through the ferryhopper app?

ferryhopper is useful for checking ferry shedules and prices, but why would you book with a 3rd party reseller?

Book directly with the ferry company, if there is a change, cancellation or unforeseen event, you will be in direct contact with the ferry company.

Advance booking will not be necessary. Just wait until you're there and buy your tickets a day ahead of departure from one of the travel offices in Fira.

I bought my ticket the day before travel, online directly from the ferry company (Blue Star). The boats are massive.
