Ferry and transportation logistics questions

I am flying to Naxos from Athens on 9/25 staying 5 nights and then plan on taking the Blue Star ferry back to Pireaus on 9/30 arriving at 3pm per ferry schedules. I then want to catch ferry to Aegina it leaves Pireaus at 4:15. Anyone who has done this is there sufficient time to make this connection as they leave from different docks (distance to walk from one to the other) and I have no idea of timeliness of ferry arrival/departures. I would prefer the regular ferry vs the flying dolphin which per schedule leaves Pireaus at 4:50.

Once on Aegina I will spent 2 nights and then want to go to Agistri. It appears in addition to the regular ferries and water taxis$$ that there is some other type of boat service between the two islands. Does anyone know about this and if so do you know if it would be running beginning of October or more likely just summer time thing. It does not give any details.

Concerning taxi transport, what are the common tipping practices in Greece (from port to hotel, from hotel to airport etc)?

I have used that ferry many times in the past. It will be 3:30 or even later before you can disembark. The arrival time is the time the ferry enters the port (see the footnotes in the timetables on the Blue Star website). In most Greek ports this does not matter, it's just a few minutes difference, but Piraeus port covers a huge area and in this case you need to add these extra 30 minutes. 3:00 is the approximate time you need to go down if you want to be one of the first passengers to leave the ferry.

In Europe we do not tip taxis.

Blue Star is a respected company, but in my experience, ferry timeliness in general was not very reliable, with weather and other variables affecting it.
